About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Hoist Operator for an ongoing opportunity on a busy aged care refurbishment project.
This role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a materials hoist, supporting site trades and ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations. You'll be working as part of a well-organised team on a structured project with consistent hours.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
Pay rate: $38 per hour + penalties for after hours
Key Responsibilities
• Operating the materials hoist safely and efficiently
• Coordinating movement of materials and equipment across levels
• Communicating with site supervisors and trades
• Assisting with general site duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
We're looking for someone reliable, safety-focused, and confident working on an active construction site. You will have:
• Previous experience operating a hoist on construction sites
• Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
• Ability to work well within a team and follow direction
Requirements
• Valid Hoist Operator ticket
• Current White Card
• Must supply your own full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel cap boots, etc.)
• Available for ongoing, full-time hours
• Reliable transport to and from site
