About the Position

We have full time, long service leave cover teachers needed for Term 3 in Grade 3 or Grade 5. This is suited to an experienced Primary educator confident teaching across all primary year levels from Foundation to Year 6. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to teach across varying year groups based on school allocation needs, rather than seeking a fixed year level placement.

Teachers are expected to deliver all core Primary subjects, including Religious Education, and contribute positively to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school. The role suits a structured, adaptable, and highly professional educator committed to student wellbeing and strong academic outcomes.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned programs across all Primary subject areas, including Religious Education
• Teach across varying year levels within Foundation-6 as required by school allocation needs
• Maintain structured, safe, and high-expectation classroom environments
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing
• Contribute to pastoral care, yard duty, co-curricular programs, camps, and broader school activities

Requirements

• Registration with or eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Full Australian work rights
• Minimum 2-3 years of Primary teaching experience
• Demonstrated flexibility teaching across multiple Primary year levels
• Strong classroom management and curriculum planning capability across all Primary subject areas
• Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning programs
• Statement of service required for salary assessment
• Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding requirements
