Shift Schedule: 3:45 pm-2:15 am 5 days a week
The Training Systems Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and execution of training systems within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing and enhancing training programs, maintaining system controls, and ensuring consistent training processes across manufacturing and supporting functions.
The position plays a key role in identifying training gaps, improving system efficiency, and supporting both local and global training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Training Systems Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement training systems based on identified business and operational needs
- Research and recommend effective training methods and solutions
- Coordinate ongoing and recurring training for manufacturing training assistants
- Introduce system upgrades to improve training delivery and efficiency
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and enhance training and quality systems by identifying and resolving process issues
- Utilize feedback and system data to drive improvements
- Ensure compliance within a quality system environment
Training Needs Analysis
- Monitor and communicate training and certification requirements
- Identify skill and knowledge gaps across manufacturing teams
- Recommend and implement solutions to address training deficiencies
Systems & Technical Support
- Troubleshoot automated training systems by identifying issues and implementing solutions
- Partner with internal teams or escalate system changes as needed
- Promote consistency across systems and support cross-functional process improvements
Project Management
- Plan, organize, and execute complex training-related projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones
- Prioritize project tasks and ensure timely completion
- Lead projects from concept through completion
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Solve complex problems requiring interpretation of processes and procedures
- Apply creativity, innovation, and independent judgment to develop solutions
- Make decisions and recommendations impacting training systems and processes
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of business processes, procedures, and functional operations
- Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment
- Ability to analyze data, develop documentation, and resolve complex issues
- Proven ability to work independently on complex assignments and projects
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- High level of initiative, creativity, and independent decision-making
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to design, develop, and improve processes and procedures
- Experience with training systems, learning technologies, or automated systems (preferred)
