ICT HELPDESK SUPPORT OFFICER - LEVEL 1

Paxus is currently partnering with a large Queensland Government organisation to recruit an ICT Helpdesk Support Officer Level 1 for a long term contract opportunity based in Brisbane CBD.

This role sits within a busy ICT Service Centre environment and will see you providing first level application support to a large user base, resolving incidents, managing service requests and delivering exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Level 1 application support and incident resolution
  • Log, triage and manage support requests through to resolution or escalation
  • Troubleshoot application, software and basic ICT issues
  • Maintain accurate records and update support documentation
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders regarding issue status and outcomes
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Service Desk team environment

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Previous Helpdesk, Service Desk or ICT Support experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience troubleshooting software, application or system issues
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office and general ICT environments
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn new applications and business systems quickly

HIGHLY REGARDED

  • Experience supporting education or government environments
  • Exposure to OneSchool, Canvas, QLearn or similar business applications
