About the Position

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join its secondary teaching team. This full-time position is available as either an ongoing or fixed-term contract commencing Term 3, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons across the secondary years, supporting students to develop strong literacy, communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. You will work within a collaborative faculty committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learners.

• Deliver the English curriculum in alignment with QCAA requirements and school expectations
• Uphold safeguarding practices and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding learning and progress
• Collaborate with faculty members to plan curriculum, assessment, and teaching strategies
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement and success of the English faculty and wider school community

Requirements Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
