The Opportunity


A major organisation undergoing a complex integration programme is seeking a HR Payroll Systems & Integration Specialist to support the consolidation of multiple workforce systems following a merger environment.


This is not a traditional payroll processing role. The focus is on systems alignment, workforce data integrity, remuneration frameworks, and award interpretation during a period of organisational change.

The assignment will work closely with senior HR, People Systems, Finance, and operational stakeholders to stabilise payroll and attendance infrastructure while ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.


Key Areas of Focus


  • Support integration of multiple payroll, attendance, and workforce management platforms
  • Align remuneration structures, awards, and enterprise agreements across legacy systems
  • Provide hands-on support with HRIS and payroll data migration and validation
  • Analyse workforce data to identify inconsistencies during integration phases
  • Improve reporting accuracy across payroll, time & attendance, and remuneration streams
  • Partner with senior stakeholders navigating system change during a merger environment
  • Provide pragmatic recommendations to streamline processes and reduce manual workarounds


What We’re Looking For


We are speaking with contractors who bring:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting HRIS or Payroll transformations
  • Exposure to complex environments with multiple awards, EBAs, or remuneration frameworks
  • Strong data capability - confident analysing workforce datasets and identifying risk
  • Experience integrating or stabilising payroll or workforce management systems
  • Background within infrastructure, logistics, construction, manufacturing, or similar operational environments preferred
  • Calm, advisory-led approach with the ability to operate in evolving programmes
