Agile Scrum Master

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Facilitator to support a large-scale enterprise application modernisation program within a complex IT environment.

This role is focused on enabling delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives by coordinating cross-functional technical teams, managing delivery flow, facilitating agile practices, and proactively removing impediments impacting progress.

Working within a structured program environment, you will partner closely with Delivery Leads, Business Analysts, Architects, Vendors, and BAU support teams to ensure delivery activities remain aligned, sequenced, and on track.

This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone who thrives in enterprise environments and enjoys bringing structure, momentum, and clarity to complex delivery streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain delivery plans aligned to the broader program roadmap
• Coordinate delivery activities across cross-functional technical teams and shared services
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Manage dependencies, risks, blockers, and resource contention across multiple workstreams
• Support backlog refinement and prioritisation activities alongside delivery stakeholders
• Improve delivery flow, communication, and team collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
• Provide accurate sprint and delivery reporting into the wider program structure
• Ensure delivery artefacts, controls, and governance requirements are maintained
• Work closely with vendors, BAU teams, architects, testers, and platform teams to support successful outcomes

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Agile Delivery Facilitator, or Technical Project Manager within complex enterprise IT environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering application modernisation, remediation, upgrade, migration, or transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, applied pragmatically within enterprise settings
• Experience coordinating delivery across cross-functional teams, shared specialist resources, and external vendors
• Strong capability in delivery planning, dependency management, and integrated coordination across parallel workstreams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent delivery management tooling

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation or uplift programs
• Experience working within complex, highly governed environments
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management, legacy remediation, or vendor end-of-life initiatives
• Scrum certifications such as CSM or PSM
