The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Machine Operators to work at a company located in the Fellsmere, FL area!

1st shift-6am-2:30pm
2nd shift-2pm-11pm
6-7 days per week
 
 
Requirements of position
 
  • This position is responsible for operating scales, baggers and associated belts and conveyors used in the packaging of “ready to eat” leafy greens for food service and retail packs. 
  • Additionally, this person will ensure the equipment is kept and maintained in a clean, working order. 
  • Must also be able to perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. 
  • Must be able to perform minor maintenance on the equipment and must immediately alert maintenance to any issues requiring more advanced knowledge.  
  • Must understand how to adjust equipment to perform adequately with different commodities and different SKUs. 
  • This position will also be responsible for an accounting of all film, bagger ribbon and other supplies used during the shift.
  • This position is also responsible for ensuring all coding on bags, boxes and labels is correct. 
  • Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality requirements and report any food safety concerns immediately.
  • The packaging operator must assure the equipment is properly set up to achieve daily production goals. 
  • Be willing to assist with any other duties as assigned by the Packaging Room Supervisor. 
  • Complies with all company policies, including food safety, workplace safety, quality assurance, sanitation, attendance, and harassment‑free workplace policies.
